Little-known fact... this one's my favorite. A couple reasons I guess. Stylistically I'm inspired by classy artists like Sade and Sting, and I think we captured a rhythmic, hypnotic mood on this one that would make them proud.
I also love that it pushes the envelope (well I don't think so, but others do) about what intiamcy with God can be. I dug out my original notes as I started writing this song, all random entries from my journal, in search of intimacy with God...

Somehow Staci Frenes helped me squeeze all that into my favorite song. Hope you like it too. And as friends have made me aware, if you have a special someone, it totally works! I did not plan that one. Nice bonus. Could be my big mainstream hit... OK, maybe not.
