Each December we wish friends and loved ones a “Merry Christmas”.  Yet many of us long to wish so much more,
that they would experience Heaven's perfect gift - Jesus.

Story behind the song...

I heard a sermon years ago that forever changed the way I think of that familiar Christmas greeting.  The miracle of Mary bringing hope into the world changed history – and we carry on the same miracle!  As Christ was planted in her, so it is with us.  As His life grew and changed her, so it is with us!  And just as Mary delivered the hope that changed the world, so does God’s love come forth from us to light our world.   That’s the miracle of Christmas.  And that’s my prayer this holiday for those I love: may you receive Heaven’s perfect gift, Jesus.  And like Mary, may His life grow and change you, until you can’t contain that life and joy anymore!
